Elevator Revisited
Elevator Revised
Role: Environment Artist
Software: Autodesk Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter, Photoshop, Unreal Engine
This piece was originally created in 2017 as part of a VR project in which I had to design a photo-real elevator for a client. When it came time to update my reel, I was cycling through my work and remembered that this project had a lot of promise. My goal when revising this piece was to primarily focus on the lighting, and make as few modeling changes as possible. Primarily I did this to test out my lighting skills, while examining firsthand how the changes to Unreal Engine's lighting mode affected the scene. This piece is designed to be playable on Oculus Rift, but is optimized in a way so that it could easily be ported to work with Samsung Gear VR as well.
All models and textures created using the following programs: Autodesk Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter and Photoshop. Real-time rendering created using Unreal Engine 4. I created all of the models, lighting and textures for this project. Model kit include 30+ unique assets.
